My name is Dima Matta, born and living in Beirut, Lebanon. I was born in 1988 and survived the last two years of war with just a diaper rash. Other than studying and writing, I spend a lot of time acting and have been in various plays for the past 6 years.

As of 2011, I am a Fulbright scholar studying for my MFA in Creative Writing at Rutgers University.

Life is one big metaphor that is ever-changing.It’s so much more interesting to view life as a work of literature… if life makes literature, then why can’t literature make life?
